From her earliest years, Natassa Sarris expressed, with particular tenacity, but also with impressive abilities, a penchant for painting. Although she studied Economic Sciences and her successful professional career involved her in Business, her great interest was always claimed by the Visual Arts, which she never abandoned.

She has travelled to many parts of the world and visited a multitude of museums, thus acquainting herself at first hand with the art both of the East and the West. She has also, up to the present, attended seminars on the Philosophy of Art and has served an ‘apprenticeship’ in a number of the studios of prominent artists during the course of her trips abroad, where, with the encouragement of her teachers, she has mounted most of her exhibitions, with great success and an enthusiastic reception by the public, as, for example, in Korea, Nepal, China, Japan, India, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and elsewhere.

As becomes apparent from her works, her art is for her a way of life and an approach to the world, as well as a mode of discipline, asceticism and deepening of her exploration of the visible as well as the unseen causations which determine nature and mankind, which is an integral part of it. The presentation of representative works by her at the Genesis Gallery (19/01/2023 – 11/02/2023) was her first solo exhibition in Greece.
